SOLAR CONSULTANT/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Responsibilities
- Manages the business development activities for designated clients and/or regions with focus on consulting and financial savings while helping the environment.
- Identifies and screens opportunities according to annual business plans.
- Provides proposals and financial savings analysis to clients.
- Possesses ability to develop and prepare opportunity-specific presentations.
- Partners with Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC), and administrative staff on deliverables.
- Manages the qualification and proposal processes.
- Develops sales strategies and business plans on a team-based client development approach.
- Coordinates technical, engineering, and construction support during all phases of client development.
- Monitors and continues involvement with the client during and after project execution.
- Leads proposal generation efforts for large, technically complex projects and develops winning acquisition strategies.

Qualifications
- BA/BS Degree in applicable field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Exposure to Construction, Solar, HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical fields.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid CA driver’s license.

Residential Energy Sales Director
DC Solar Electric Inc, a Division of the Stevens Family Companies has an opportunity for a Residential Energy Sales Director. This position will offer you an exciting opportunity to help provide a clean, safe, and reliable source of Electric Power to light, cool/heat homes and schools, run factories, and provide goods and services that we all depend upon.
The Residential Energy Sales Director will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and delivering on required targets as well as working cross-functionally with other departments. The Residential Energy Sales Director will design plans to meet and exceed current sales targets while maintaining a focus on growth. This position will monitor critical business KPIs and implement new sales processes, technologies and change across the Sales organization.
Reporting to the President of Operations and Sales, with a dotted line to the President of Construction, this role will have executive visibility with recurring meetings, presentations, and analyses. A significant amount of client interaction and a high degree of professionalism is required.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience; ideally 7+ years of successfully managing high performing sales teams
- Experience growing successful technically inclined sales teams, particularly in the solar, energy or efficiency energy field
- Experience selling high-value items through a consultative process
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Responsibilities:
- Follow the company plan and strategy to accomplish area revenue targets

- Mentor and coach Sales Managers to hit key metrics by working closely with sales team to enhance sales performance and forecasts

SOLAR INSTALLER
DC Solar Electric, Inc., a Division of the Stevens Family Companies, has an opportunity for a Solar Installer. Our Solar Installer job will offer you an exciting opportunity to help provide a clean, safe, and reliable source of Electric Power to light, cool/heat homes and schools, run factories, and provide goods and services that we all depend upon. The Solar Installer installs all photovoltaic system components and electrical equipment, ensures the successful operation of a complete photovoltaic system, and communicates project status with Project and Construction Managers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one (1) year experience installing solar systems, in addition to electrical and roofing experience.
- Knowledgeable of OHSA safety compliance requirements and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Lead Solar Installer / Journeyman Electrician
DC Solar Electric Inc., a Division of the Stevens Family Companies has an opportunity for a Lead Solar Installer/Journeyman Electrician. This position offers you an exciting opportunity to help provide a clean, safe, and reliable source of Electric Power to light, cool/heat homes and schools, run factories, and provide goods and services that we all depend upon. This position will report to the President of Construction and will require a high degree of professionalism/client interaction.
The Lead Installer/Journeyman Electrician will:
Be responsible for managing and installing the photovoltaic system from beginning to end through coordination with the project manager and working side by side with team members.
Complete the project with the highest level of safety, quality, efficiency, and conformance to the approved plans and specifications.
Qualifications:
- Mechanically minded individual able to work in the field installing residential and/or commercial grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) systems.
- Minimum 3 years of previous solar installation experienced required (applicants without solar or extensive electrical experience will not be accepted).
- Experience installing both roof and ground mount systems.
- Experience with micro and string inverters as well as setting up monitoring systems.
- NABCEP Certifications a plus.
- Journeyman Electrician Certification in the State of California (requirement).
- General construction knowledge including roofing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
- Experience with electrical work involving up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC.
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), Uniform Building Code (UBC), local & utility jurisdiction requirements.
- Experience complying with OHSA safety requirements and regulations.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Skills Required:
